Welcome to Drexel's resources
In recent years, Drexel University and the Charles D. Close School of Entrepreneurship have invested significantly in bolstering the university's entrepreneurial ecosystem. Drexel University has been the birthplace of many exciting and thriving startups. GoPuff is the prime example of the exciting work and ideas that Drexel University students/entrepreneurs work on to challenge the status quo. Drexel's investments in the ecosystem have resulted in the Baiada Institute for Entrepreneurship and partnerships with Drexel Applied Innovation and IC@3401, which you can learn about below. Drexel's ecosystem is still growing, and it continues to give birth to many exciting and innovative ideas driven by the passion of entrepreneurship and curiosity from undergraduate and graduate students. Let's keep growing Drexel's ecosystem together.
Gabriel Marte is a first-year MBA student concentrating in Finance and Strategic Technology & Innovation Management (STIM) at the LeBow College of Business. At Drexel, Gabriel is an advocate for entrepreneurship and innovation. During his junior year of college at Temple University, Gabriel co-founded Versa, a digital marketplace for creative & beauty professionals, in which he is no longer involved. Gabriel has experience pitching venture capital and angel investors for fundraising purposes. Gabriel is also currently working on a fintech startup focusing on the retirement crisis in the minority population. Aside from his own experience in startups, Gabriel has also consulted for a private equity firm regarding introducing a new investment vehicle. In his free time, Gabriel likes to spend time with family and his dog Manny, playing sports with friends, and going to the gym. As a scout, Gabriel is excited to connect with founders, especially under-represented groups, and provide them with access to more resources and funding opportunities through OpenScout and AWS.
